Dustone is a musical and technical collective created to further our inspiration as artists and highly skilled audio/visual alchemists. We specialize in musical stream-of-consciousness improvisations and high definition multi-media — creating custom one-of-a-kind inspirational environments and content. From music for film, to the studio itself, we apply the same creative passion to our work with select clientele.

Dustone Cinema

The origin of Dustone is the band, Dustone Cinema. The collective of musicians performs live in exotic and appropriate settings conducive to our vibe and aesthetics. Our core group of musicians frequently features musical guests who are kindred spirits. Dustone Cinema's music is available on CD’s, high definition surround DVD’s and digital downloads online. We have a library of recordings dating back to 1992 that can be overdubbed and morphed into custom pieces for film and audio visual presentations.

Music for Film

Dustone Cinema is the music creation entity that brings intensely evocative and unique aesthetics, unparalleled studio and live musical experience, and deep technology knowledge derived from years of work in the global music and music technology markets. We create and license incidental music and soundscapes for film, video, TV and multi-media immersive environments. Content is created in the studio and through live performances by our collective of musicians and engineers with an emphasis on deep improvisation. We are continually building a large content library that is compelling, unique, and can be shaped into many variations.

Consulting & Sales

Our world-class audio and studio consultation team is unmatched. We offer design services that leverage our extensive experience as touring musicians and studio recording professionals. From designing a studio from scratch, to project management, purchasing the gear, installation and training, we deliver custom solutions. Computer based and/or analog recording studios.
